Job Introduction:

Mobile Service Representative

To work with the Total Facilities Management (TFM) team at Affected Regional Properties to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard which meets service delivery targets within set timescales. This will involve working with external sub-contractors.

Location:         We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Service Representative in the Liverpool area.

Salary:            £20,000 per annum

Hours:             40 hours per week

Benefits:          Progressive worldwide organisation, 4 weeks annual leave (pro rata’d)

To work with the Total Facilities Management (TFM) team at Affected Regional Properties to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard which meets service delivery targets within set timescales. This will involve working with external sub-contractors.

Role Responsibility:

Main responsibilites will include the following:

  • To maintain and repair the structure of the building as appropriate within skill level
  • To maintain and repair fixtures and fittings within the building as appropriate within skill level
  • To carry out all routine building maintenance tasks (Planned Preventative Maintenance – PPMs) within set timescales (training will be provided)
  • To review working processes and practices and implement improvements
  • Weekend working when required
  • Adhering to safe systems of work procedures and practices and using appropriate safety devices, equipment and clothing provided by G4S
  • Reporting to the appropriate person all unsafe conditions, damage, near misses – whether or not there are any personal injuries, in order that remedial action can be taken
  • To familiarize self, and complying with, all site rules, regulations, practices and procedures affecting health and safety
  • Attend Health and Safety training in accordance with G4S Company requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • High level of building / fabric maintenance skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Self starter and able to work on own initiative
  • Full driving license
  • Willingness to travel within the region
  • Trade background eg, plumber, electrician, gas engineer would be an advantage
  • Experience of working within a helpdesk lead environment would be an advantage
