Administrator - DART (Drug, Alcohol, Recovery Team) 

HMP Rye Hill, Rugby

£19,131.00 per annum 

Full Time, Permanent - 40 hours per week

HMP Rye Hill is situated in Willoughby, near Rugby, Warwickshire and is a category B prison for sentenced male adults who have been convicted of a current or previous sex offence(s). 

We have an exciting opportunity at HMP Rye Hill as an Administrator within the DART Team.

You will provide a full administration service to the DART Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete monthly stat forms to capture all DART’s current KPT’s and provide this information to relevant Senior Management.
  • To be in control of the day to day running of DART by preparing groups, paying prisoners, setting up meetings and minute taking
  • Meet all new prisoners into HMP Rye Hill to assess their current Drug & Alcohol use and Open files on new prisoners if needed
  • Attend and take minutes in various meetings which will include key stakeholders and commissioners
  • Complete external data monitoring to help Public Health England have a better understanding on the drug use in prisons in the UK
  • Liaising with other agencies to help support prisoners whilst in custody and upon release by attending sentence plan and probation meetings which will help to build up links in the community to help reduce re-offending in the future.

Previous relevant experience would be desirable.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and must have been resident in the UK for a minimum period of 5 years. You will also need to provide full details of your employment and education history for the last 10 years as part of the security screening process for this role.
