Job Introduction:

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Security Site Supervisor to join the G4S Secure Solutions (UK) team in Stallingborough, North Lincolnshire area. 

The Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager
in maintaining performance of the Security team within a defined portfolio of
assignments in accordance with the G4S and Client contract.

Role Responsibility:

Employee Management:

  • Supervise correct manning levels on all sites within area of responsibility to ensure that both contractual and temporary work orders are satisfied to the customer’s expectation and escalate to the AOC/Contracts Manager any issues that arise.
  • Ensure that all changes either proposed or by requirement to scheduled duties are escalated to the AOC/Contracts Manager to be entered into the G4S payroll system in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure that all officers are suitably trained and have adequate site instruction to carry out the required duties.
  • Maintain and monitor daily performance to ensure that behaviours and appearances exceed G4S expectations.
  • Where applicable, take informal corrective action to address performance issues and document any actions taken. 

Employee Welfare:

  • Assist in the Site/Officer visiting program to achieve Company guidelines by conducting monthly care visits and Yearly PPS reviews for all officers under the direction of the Contracts Manager.
  • Actively participate in and resolve, as appropriate, any officer issues.
  • Actively participate, as required, in the induction process of new employees.  This to include initial visits during Induction training and on site training.

Customer Liaison:

  • Maintain an exceptional working relationship with the relevant Client staff and other service providers, as required, to ensure an effective delivery of service.
  • Implement and participate in innovation and best practice across the portfolio, and also across the contract.

Company Documentation:


  • Supervise on site officers record keeping and assist with further training requirements.
  • Constantly review site work practice, seeking ongoing improvement and making recommendations for improvement to site Assignment Instructions.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure that Health & Safety assessments are relevant and up to date.
  • Maintain all relevant Company and Customer documentation.
  • Customer Monthly report

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrable supervisory experience in the security sector and/or supervisory or team leader position and also ideally the following:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Previous experience in a customer service lead role.
  • A valid front line SIA Licence or current certificate of completion of SIA front line training is an advantage.
  • IT literacy using MS office and Google platforms  

To be considered for employment with G4S in this role you must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Have a five year checkable employment history or be able to  produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self- employment or full and part time education during that period.
  • Have own transport and full UK driving licence, this is essential as you will be doing patrols in a company vehicle
