Job Introduction:

Reporting to the HR Business Partner for the Critical Infrastructure business, you will help deliver a professional and high quality ‘best practice’ internal recruitment service to directors and managers.

You will provide effective recruitment support to the internal recruitment administration function within the HR Shared Services department and will predominately be responsible for developing innovative cost effective solutions within the Ministry of Justice contract. You will understand the areas of the operation that can impact on recruitment and retention and develop solutions to improve.

In addition, you will source high volumes of candidates for front line cleaning and security roles, implementing comprehensive recruitment processes across the contract.  

Role Responsibility:

  • Directly sourcing candidates via job centre, head hunting, job boards, advertising, LinkedIn, CV databases and networking.
  • Manage recruitment assessment days to facilitate large numbers of operational candidates
  • Manage candidates through the on boarding process.
  • Enhancing the company’s employer branding with pro-active social media links, to promote careers in health but also for advertising purposes.
  • Analysis of local markets and issues impacting recruitment for those specific target areas
  • Review of drop out figures at each stage per site/role and advice to improve
  • Review of turnover and impact on future recruits
  • Cost analysis of recruiting to a role with a target to deliver cost effective resourcing solutions to the business ensuring a cost reduction has been made to external recruitment spend.
  • Provide guidance and practical expertise to Hiring Mangers for all issues relating to the end to end employment life cycle.
  • Managing relationships with a number of external recruitment agency suppliers.
  • Researching and mapping the talent pool, keeping in contact with candidates to promote employment opportunities within the company.
  • Screening CV’s and reviewing applications - providing shortlists to hiring managers.
  • Assist with administering company’s psychometric testing.
  • Liaising with HR and recruiting managers regarding the recruitment cycle
  • Managing the Applicant Tracking System, providing feedback to successful and unsuccessful candidates
  • Managing mobilisation recruitment campaigns.
  • Reducing agency spend and performance penalties
  • Writing and reviewing job descriptions.
  • Ensure all Resourcing transactional administration is delivered to the appropriate standard and in line with the agreed SLA.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will already have experience of working within recruitment, either in-house or for an agency. You will also have experience of recruiting for high volume operational roles and will be comfortable with forming and creating recruitment processes.You will also:

  • Have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Have the ability build strong relationships with key stakeholders of across all levels.
  • Have the ability to manage time, prioritise workload and be comfortable in working towards deadlines.
  • Have experience of recruitment in the FM Sector – desirable.
  • An understanding of the custodial services industry – desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and work with senior members.
  • Have a flexible approach to travel as there will be a requirement to travel to other sites with possible out of hours working.
