Job Introduction:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NCC Operator in our Operations Support team, based in our National Control Centre office based in Leeds.

Role Responsibility:

Primary Function - Telecontact Monitoring and Staff welfare and Health & Safety, within the Operations team. Point of contact for G4S SSUK Field based Operations Managers and Security Officers

  • Being a central point of contact for a assistance day or night 365 days of the year
  • Monitoring and acting to protect the Health Safety and Welfare of employees
  • Effectively and efficiently deploying frontline employees across the G4S portfolio
  • Monitoring, Management and action of the booking system
  • Supporting the field based management teams with task completion and information


  • The Monitoring, Management and action of the Telecontact system
  • Monitoring the Health Safety and Welfare of employees
  • Advising and assisting employees across the UK.
  • Clearly & concisely reporting and escalating Incidents & Accidents
  • Assisting field based Operational Management teams across the UK
  • Acting as a central point of contact for all field based staff members
  • Maintaining Operational systems data
  • Production of timely and accurate reporting
  • Creation/completion of analysis management information reports
  • Effectively and efficiently deploying frontline employees across the G4S portfolio

The Ideal Candidate:

Essential Requirements

  • Desktop IT skills especially Excel Functionality
  • Ability to work under pressure 
  • Must have flexible approach to shift work and overtime requirements
  • Ability to use own initiative and abide by processes and procedures

  • Control Room  / Call Centre Experience
  • Scheduling System use
  • Operational Deployment experience
  • Security Services & Systems knowledge
  • Use of G4S systems would be an advantage
  • Remote workforce management
  • Basic Financial awareness
  • Ability to create reports and work with detailed analysis
