Job Introduction:

In 2012 G4S and Lincolnshire Police formed a Strategic Partnership and we are now currently looking for individuals who are interested in joining us as a BAU Governance Administrator/ PMO.

This is a full time position for 40 hours per week. The post is based at Lincolnshire Police Headquarters, Nettleham. The benefits of working from this location include; free car parking and 24 hours use of a free gym.

To support the East Midlands and City Niche Leadership Team in tracking, monitoring and updating the status of business as usual deliverables and milestones from across all forces.

The successful candidate will liaise with key stakeholders to prepare meeting agendas and ensure traceability by tracking decisions and actions at the following governance meetings: The Design Authority, Technical Design Authority, Webform Leads, Workstream Leads and Operational Leads meetings. These are either teleconference calls or based at Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire or Northamptonshire FHQ’s.

Niche RMS (Records Management System) is a single, unified, operational policing system that manages information in relation to the core policing entities. The successful post holder for the job advertised will be responsible for the support and development of this application for 6 police forces, on a shared platform.

Role Responsibility:

  • To ensure that the Business Designs approved at the Design Authority, Webform leads and Operational Lead are assigned to the configuration team after Sign-off has been given with a decision number on JIRA (the depository tool use by the Niche Team).    
  • To take minutes and actions at the Region and City Programme Board meetings. These are predominantly based at Leicestershire FHQ but may be at another force within the Region.
  • To maintain repository of templates and documents stored on the EMRN.
  • To act as conduit and single source of the truth for central communication out to the six Police Forces regarding Niche Governance.
  • To track and measure the benefits realisation from the Niche functional implementations as required.
  • To assist Subject Matter Experts with process mapping business designs using MS Visio software.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Full driving license and willing to travel.
  • Very good knowledge and experience of Microsoft including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Visio. MS Project is beneficial.

  • Ability to work on own initiative within the governance framework.
  • Ability to produce good quality documentation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Ability to self-manage.
