G4S Cash Solutions (UK) is looking for an Inside Sales Representative who has a drive for hunting new business and thrives on high volume activity to see success. This individual will be expected to hit or over-achieve against a monthly revenue target by self-prospecting as well as working alongside our Business Development Managers. The ideal candidate will hit the phones and self-prospect to generate new opportunities, through high volume of engagement over the phone & networking platforms.

Main Purpose of Job

G4S Cash Solutions (UK) is looking for a Field Sales Executive who will be responsible for seeking out and developing new business with a consultative approach to selling. They should be commercially astute and have excellent communication skills, with a demonstrable record in generating significant revenues.

This individual will be expected to over-achieve against a quarterly revenue target by self-prospecting as well as working alongside our Senior Business Development Manager(s) and Telesales Manager.

They should have a wealth of new business development experience with proven capacity and drive to deliver against challenging targets. They should be skilled in solution selling and have a proven track record of ensuring they meet customer requirements in an innovative and compelling way. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Hunt and resolutely prospect new business
  • Develop and actively manage own sales pipeline
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Discuss and analyse end user requirements to identify the correct G4S services to sell
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Develop and actively manage own sales pipeline
  • Hit or over-achieve against monthly revenue target, based on annual quota
  • Demonstrate commercial focus and financial awareness when developing new business opportunities
  • To consistently achieve the agreed personal new business revenue targets and objectives
  • Manage and communicate progress via accurate and timely reporting in Salesforce
  • Maintain up to date G4S product knowledge and competitor product knowledge to ensure an in-depth understanding on the market and to remain competitive
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • To have complete understanding of the suite of G4S Cash Solutions offered to customers and be able to communicate those effectively in a compelling manner to our prospective customers
  • Demonstrate a structured approach to winning new business and the ability to negotiate effectively at all levels.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits and specialised features of our solutions to positively influence customer purchasing decisions and add value.
  • To act as a credible ambassador for G4S when speaking to potential customers
  • Manage own workload according to performance targets and objectives advising the Head of Sales where tasks may not be completed within necessary timescales
  • Ensure inclusion and timely response to RFP/RFIs
  • Ensure emails are dealt with promptly and according to company procedures
  • To work with professionalism, honesty and integrity maintaining confidentiality
  • Treat people fairly, with respect, impartiality and consistency
  • Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople
  • Provide support to other team members, and fulfil any reasonable management request
  • To understand the organisation chart within the sales department, and build relationships with key personnel
  • Work positively and effectively across other business functions as required
  • To undertake all other reasonable duties as requested

The Ideal Candidate:

Person Specification

  • 3+ years proven working experience as a BDM, Sales Executive or a relevant role
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Experience of solution selling
  • Able to work under their own initiative
  • A positive attitude
  • Flexibility and quick thinking
  • Good knowledge about all the company's products and services
  • To be well-organised and thorough, even under pressure
  • To understand and comply with the legislation relating to direct marketing
