Job Introduction:

We are seeking to recruit a Contract Manager for our large contract in Somerset.

We provide integrated FM services in a wide range of environments, including: head offices, retail stores, utility plants, manufacturing sites, health settings, secure environments, and prestigious buildings. 

  • We run large TFM contracts

  • We serve FM in Hospitals and Secure establishments

  • We provide FM services to Health and School buildings

This contract is relatively new to us and will involve managing and leading the Operations Team on a 10 year contract delivering Facilities Management to a large Estate with a number of Associated Developments for the construction of a Nuclear Power Station.

Role Responsibility:

  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring that all H&S policies/statements and standards are followed and are carried out across the HPC Estate and Associated Developments
  • Overall responsibilities for contract P&L
  • To ensure all legal and statutory requirements are met in delivering Facilities Management Services across the contract, for both hard and soft services
  • Provide Innovation and change management to the contract, identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvements and efficiencies balancing the needs of the business and client at all times
  • To provide clear direction and support to the contract senior management when required
  • To positively and proactively promote “G4S Facilities Management” as an FM business provider of preference and identify potential organic growth, within the parameters defined by the Contract Manager

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Significant experience of operating at a senior management level in a large scale estate management background
  • Recognised Accreditation within the FM Institute
  • Ability to build and manage strong client working relationships
  • Public & Private sector experience desirable
  • NEC 3 Contract knowledge desirable
