An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Administrator based in our Tewkesbury office. Reporting to the Head of Business Support, the job holder is primarily responsible for commercial and contract administration functions in providing comprehensive, effective and efficient support to all areas of the Fire & Security (UK) Company

Role Responsibility:

  • Acting as a focal point for obtaining customers Purchase Orders in a timely manner for invoicing.
  • Setting up customer portals and ensure all administration tasks required are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with FSSC, Department Managers, Customers and Sales to ensure correct information is obtained regarding Purchase Orders to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
  • Ensuring that the company’s contractual records are professionally
  • Communicating with Department Managers to assist correct resolution of amendments to the service database.
  • Processing of all amendments to the contractual database in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate handing over of contracts and
    subsequent invoicing.
  • Liaison with Credit control team as required to assist with query
  • Liaison with Operations Managers as required to assist correct
    resolution of changes to contracts.
  • Following up the issuing of Purchase Orders for service invoices.
  • Maintaining the Docuware storage system.
  • Completing specific projects and audit tasks, as requested by Head of Business.
  • Providing support and assistance, where required, to Head of Business Support.
  • Processing of all relevant paperwork onto the electronic archive
    storage system

Essential Requirements

  • 5 years checkable work history
  • Understanding of commonly used office packages
  • A high standard of computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
  • Reliable
  • Eye for detail
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated & confident
  • Logical & numerical aptitude
  • Unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
  • Fluent written and spoken English

Preference will be given to candidates who also meet the following:

  • Knowledge of Service Centre System
  • Previous experience within an administration role
