We are actively seeking to recruit an Asset Lifecycle Manager into the Commercial Team. This is a home based role with frequent travel throughout England.

Role Responsibility:

Reporting to the Asset and Lifecycle Director the Asset and Lifecycle Manager will take front line management responsibility for estate wide PFI asset management obligations, the management of a number of five year asset management plans, the optimisation of whole life asset maintenance and lifecycle replacement programs.

Having strong commercial and financial experience with close attention to detail, the post holder will assist in the management of the Asset Lifecycle Fund.

In liaison with Clients and end user groups, the Asset Lifecycle Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the estate wide annual asset management condition inspection program to meet the needs of the annual asset management forward planning process.


The Ideal Candidate:

 

  • Qualified Quantity or Building Surveyor
  • Competent in the use of standard forms of contract
  • Diligent and accurate attention to detail and financial record keeping
  • Wide knowledge of Building systems and remediation strategies  
  • Cost management processes
  • Ability to understand business processes
  • Knowledge of M&E Systems
  • PFI / PPP contracts understanding
  • Principles of lifecycle management strategies
  • A thorough knowledge of building construction and building services
  • A deep understanding of Asset Management principles and practices
  • Excellent Commercial and financial management ability
  • Effective verbal and written communications
  • Highly self motivated with good time management
