Job Introduction:

Every G4S employee has a role to play in understanding and supporting the business in embedding effective risk management controls and assurance and be integral to the effectiveness and success of G4S.

Role Responsibility:


  • Carry out general administrative duties, including producing written documentation on behalf of management
  • Carry out HR and recruitment responsibilities for the department, including staff absence, assisting with annual reviews, managing the leaver and new starter process.
  • Procurement of IT equipment and stationary for the department
  • Manage the filing and archiving for the department.
  • Co-ordinate departmental travel and hotel/expenses management
  • Diary Management
  • Maintain works order database for security technicians
  • Maintain vehicle assist database


  • Assist with the production of Fleet Services yearly capital budget
  • Preparation of financial investment documentation
  • Raising purchase orders 
  • Assisting with the production of internal documentation.
  • Regular liaison with suppliers.
  • Invoicing duties which include regular liaison with the accounts department to ensure correct coding and payments are made.
  • Set up of contractors on Ariba (G4S financial system)
  • Assist with preparation of monthly management information



  • Assist with the production of programme documents including change controls, risk logs and organisational charts
  • Document management and control

The Ideal Candidate:



The Selection Criteria for the post should include qualifications, relevant experience, skills/abilities and styles/behaviours essential to perform the post




Well organised and with the ability to deal with people professionally, politely and sensitively at all levels both verbally and in writing, with good communication skills.


Good level of literacy for letter writing assisting with reports, creation of presentations using MS PowerPoint, production of property particulars and adverts.


Financially literate, with a strong level of numerical competency for spread sheet population and management, proven MS Excel expertise.


Ability to accurately maintain computer based information on spreadsheets and database packages and to create/assist with reporting using Microsoft Office.


Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload together with the ability to show initiative and independence; able to create, manage and use filing systems.


Flexibility & adaptability in a fast changing corporate environment.
