Role Responsibility:

As Account Manager (Council or Core) you will form part of the Sales  team, defining, agreeing  and delivering  the account strategy for a number of Council accounts within a portfolio. You will also be responsible for maintaining and developing the business relationships at strategic and tactical levels within the client’s organisation, representing the customer view whilst maintaining balance with G4Ss interests.

Reporting to the Sector Head, you should be capable of:

  • Demonstrating the ability to use the consultative sales process to understand customer requirements – and develop the right solutions to meet those customer needs 
  • Delivering against stretching growth targets from the appropriate portfolio year on year and against budget
  • Acquiring market intelligence relating to potential client growth areas and competitors and act on it to drive new opportunities
  • Developing and maintaining honest and open internal and external relationships
  • Understanding the customers own business strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

To succeed as an Account Manager  you must have:

  • Graduate level qualification or equivalent
  • A track record in delivering portfolio growth and converting new opportunities and being successful in a mobile/remote role
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and presentational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • A checkable 10 year employment, unemployment, and educational history
  • The ability to pass CRB, personal credit and ID checks and be prepared to undergo airport style searches
